Bread of Healing Empowerment Ministry

Provide oversight and advice to BOHEM and Adult Center programs.

Caregivers

Assist the pastors and parish nurse in ministering to the sick and shut-ins.

Endowment Board

Build, invest and disperse church endowment funds.

Education

Oversee Adult Education, Bible Study, Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.

Elders

Assist the pastors in worship and meeting other spiritual needs of the congregation and pastors.

Evangelism: Hospitality

Serve as greeters and welcome team, work with new members and create materials.

Evangelism: Neighborhood

Attend area groups and activities, meet and follow up with interested neighbors.

Finance

Develop and monitor church budget and other expenses; solicit grants and gifts.

Human Resources

Oversee job descriptions, hiring, salaries and benefits and review of church employees.

LGBT (Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender)

Provide support and programs to further Cross Lutheran's Reconciling in Christ mission.

MICAH Core Team Recruit congregation members to active involvement in MICAH (Milwaukee Inner-city Congregations Allied for Hope).

Stewardship

Work with the pastors to encourage members to donate time, talents and money.

Trustees

Care for Cross' building and grounds.

Worship

Work with the pastors and choir directors for spirit-filled services and revivals.

Youth

Provide oversight to staff and programs who work with youth.
