“After adopting Hiwot and Sheta (now 8 and 4) from Ethiopia, we came to Cross seeking a community that would embrace our multiracial family and nurture our children’s African heritage. Committed to social justice, we were also drawn to Cross’ long history of activism and community commitment. Pastor Ken’s powerful sermons and expansive vision of the broad concerns and responsibilities of people in Christ were another draw.
